Lydia Bridget Luwanika joined the Malawi Electoral Commission in December, 2000 as a Secretary for the Regional Elections Office South responsible for the Regional Elections Manager and Demarcation Manager. she holds Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts (Human Resource Management and Diploma in Business Studies and Secretarial Management. She is a full accredited BRIDGE facilitator. She attended Disarmament Demobilisation Reintegration (DDR) course and also attended a comprehensive training on Regional and International for Development for Peace and Security (DDPS). She has worked in the Malawi Electoral Commission in different directorates like in Human Resources, CEO office and Chairperson Office as a secretary. She has served in the CVE Directorate for almost 24 years. She has keen interest to enhance public awareness and increase citizen participation in the electoral processes.
